THE COLOR RUN OF ATLANTA
The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is dedicated to ensure all children have access to the specialized care they need whether treating a toddler in an emergency or supporting a teen through chemotherapy treatments. It is the teamwork and more than 200 combined years of history caring for Georgia’s children that Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is able to achieve excellence in pediatric care.
Fire, Inc. Atlanta sponsored two of its team members to run in The Color Run Atlanta 5k around the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA. The Color Run chooses a local charity to donate to at each event; this one being Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The Color Run is part of the largest event series in the nation due to the emphasis being on fun (being doused in colorful paint) and charity, rather than times and places finished.
