FIRE Inc. Atlanta hosted the Atlanta’s Leaders Conference this past Sunday, March 22, 2015 in the Atlanta Marriott Northwest. The purpose of this conference was to inspire young entrepreneurs and develop skills to be an effective leader in our industry. This was a great networking and development experience for more than 450 business people.

The president of FIRE Inc. Atlanta, Malcolm Elavia, was the lead in this event. There were multiple activities the attendees participated in. There were multiple breakout sessions where the attendees shared opportunities in the industry, discussed best business practices, participated in team building activities, and learned all about how to improve their game and take their business to the next level.

This conference was a development and networking opportunity not only for people who have been in the business for a long time, but it was also open for people who recently joined the sales industry. This offered everyone the opportunity to learn not only from the best in the industry, but also allowed the opportunity to bring new perspectives to the table.

Another interesting highlight of the SE Atlanta’s Leaders Conference was the Operation Smile fundraising event that took place. Malcolm shared:

Our Spring 2015 Southeast Leaders Conference was the best to date! It was energetic, fun, and exciting and with the best of the best getting to speak center stage. I really felt we made an impact, not only on our leadership development, but at the same time, we were able to raise $1,300; which is enough money to provide five life changing surgeries to children through Operation Smile (Operation Smile, a children’s medical charity that provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for children around the globe).

The Southeast Atlanta’s Leaders Conference 2015 was a big success, not only for all the business development opportunities, but also for the contribution made to a great charity such as Operation Smile. The FIRE Inc. Atlanta team cannot wait for the next regional conference to take place!
